Days of Distancing.
As social distancing started in the middle of March to prevent the spread of Covid-19, I began making one photo a day. I wanted to make photos that showed the strangeness of what was happening, a way of marking and commenting on the world we found ourselves in. One photo a day, each with at least a short commentary.
Then, it late May on top of the viral pandemic, we layered confronting racism. What transpired was two weeks where the coronavirus social distancing ran head on into the need to be together to address racial injustice.
