Days of Distancing. Day 34.
Somebody on our block owns this car, not sure who. It is an old school muscle car, and like any good muscle car definitely is louder than most newer cars. Everyone on the block can hear when this car starts up. But unlike most cars on our block which just sit idle all the time, its owner is using it. They are probably a key worker. In days before Covid you could hear them driving it all the time, they still do. Its kind of this oddly comforting thing, like the owner keeps using it, it keeps making noise, just as it always has, reminding me of the pre-Covid world. Even when that reminder comes at 5:00 am.
