Days of Distancing. Day 87

Days of Protest. Day 10.

That thing where your protest is so powerful that a US senator stops by to talk with the movement leaders and listen to them.

Senator Bob Casey spent an hour in the Art Park yesterday listening to some of the community leaders that organized the protests express what changes they want to be made. Casey agreed to meet with them in three months to discuss what progress was being made. The George Floyd mural had been moved to serve as a backdrop so that all the names would be present for the meeting.
